wilson barnThe Wilson Barn is a fascinating site which helps preserve the past from the citys early days as an agricultural community. Originally settled in 1888 to house the Ira Wilson Diary, the Barn dates back to 1919 when it was rebuilt after fire. There is a small house on the south end of the site, originally built in 1885, but restored to the era of the 1940's. Wilson Barn is also the site of many events throughout the year, including a farmer's market, an antique car show and holiday programs. Preserved by the Friends of Wilson Barn, the location is listed as a local, state and national historic site. For more information call 734-427-4311.
