LIVONIA PUBLIC SCHOOLS
Livonia Public Schools is a lighthouse district with a tradition of excellence. Enrolling approximately 16,250 students, Livonia Public Schools operates high schools (grades 9-12), middle schools (grades 7-8), upper elementary schools (grades 5-6), elementary schools (K-4) and one K-6 school for special programs. CLARENCEVILLE SCHOOL DISTRICT
In the northeast corner of Livonia students attend a small district with a big heart: Clarenceville School District is one of the first school districts established in the state of Michigan and is a member of Oakland County Schools. The district enrolls 1,900 students. Clarenceville School District offers one high school (grades 9-12), one middle school (grades 6-8) and two elementary schools (grades K-5). Fifteen percent of Livonia's youth takes advantage of the local private schools. Private schools include Galilean Baptist School, Saint Paul Lutheran School, Saint Genevieve School, Saint Michael's Elementary School, Saint Edith School, Ladywood High School, Livonia Montessori and Peace Lutheran School. Livonia is also home to The Montessori Center of Our Lady, founded in 1976 by the Felician Sisters.
